Half Holiday, 2012.
Half Holiday was created for an exhibition called Half, curated by Jesse Mullins and Lee Phillips. The 22 artists were asked to explore the question "How can we measure half in an artistic context?" The top hatted drunk is Ally Sloper, a 19th-century cartoon character who appeared in what some call the first comic book ever, Ally Sloper's Half Holiday. I have chosen to reformat my comic for the web. In its original form, the layout of the panels was a part of my exploration of the "half" concept, as you can see below:
